Nutty Irishman Mocha and a bagel and egg sandwich. Just what I needed after being awake for 26 hours and then only getting 2 hours of sleep. Thanks to the bf’s drunk roommates coming in and yelling for hours. Ugh.
But it’s time to finally see this fella graduate! :)
Sleepy face. Ready for a vacation!
Menchies Froyo. Found my happy place.
Yay for my mom getting her custom kitchen. Boo for eating bread and peanut butter all the time.
I found the golden nuggets! At Whole Foods. I missed them dearly. I love spring.
For those of you who have been to an Old Chicago restaurant…my roommate from college and I are working on the beer tour (that’s 110 beers for those of you who don’t know). This is my prize for getting to my 70th beer. It’s only taken me 2 years to get this far…haha! If only there was an Old C’s in MD, I’d totally be on that Wall of Foam by now!
A feast for my dad’s birthday! Yum yum! Honey baked ham, crab cakes, corn pudding, and roasted asparagus. Now I’m filled to the brim.
Arches National Park in Utah :) Gotta love those blue skies and red rocks!
Seriously tasty lemon meringue pie. Particularly loving the hazelnut shortbread crust!
Had dinner with the brother at a small plates lounge. And had to have my favorite of their handcrafted cocktails…a Moscow Mule! Yum yum
So I had accepted a spot in Johns Hopkins’ MSPH Human Nutrition program. Just the masters program, I didn’t get into their RD internship (they only accept 6!). I was bummed, but I figured what the heck, it’s Hopkins. Well the next day, THE NEXT DAY, I got into UNC Chapel Hill’s MPH/RD program. So after a week or so of fretting, I finally decided to accept!
I’m moving to NC in the fall! And I’m going to become a dietitian! So excited for this grand adventure!! :)
I’m going to Johns Hopkins in the fall. Johns Hopkins. Crazy.
Tasty bruschetta. Goat cheese with a little cream cheese and olive oil spread on a baguette, with tomatoes, basil, and olive oil. Delish.
He is Risen! Happy Easter!
Made pineapple upside down cake for the boyfriend’s family and friends. Glad it turned out well! :)
